CyanogenMod is one of the well known custom ROM’s out their in the android world. It is based on Android 4.4.4 KitKat but sadly it still not available official by the CM devs but Kra1o5, a well known dev has ported it unofficially for our Redmi 1S with the least bugs as possible!

Note :- The following ROM in the links below is the R3 (Release 3) ROM, I will update the links whenever a new release comes out.

So here we go!

Step 1. Copy the files you download it earlier and paste them in the root of your internal storage.

Step 2. Boot into the recovery mode by pressing the volume up and power button together. (Leave the buttons when you see the MI logo)

Optional Step. Go to Backup and swipe to backup your current ROM (This is in-case something goes wrong)

Step 3. Go to wipe and swipe to do a factory reset.

Step 4. Go to install, select the ROM we download earlier (cm-11-20140920-UNOFFICIAL-armani) and swipe to flash it.
